There is good news for the government employees and officers of Madhya Pradesh. After Ganga Saptami, the manifestation festival of Lord Chitragupta, the state government has now declared a general holiday on Maharana Pratap Jayanti. A notification in this regard was issued on May 5, 2023 under the signature of Srinivas Sharma Secretary. With this, government employees will get the benefit of another holiday in May.

May 22 Public Holiday
In fact, Madhya Pradesh Government, Ministry of General Administration Department has issued a notification to declare another general holiday in the month of May. It is written that on Monday, May 22, 2023, making partial amendments to the notification issued on December 19, 2022. Maharana Pratap Jayanti, in place of previously announced voluntary holiday, a general holiday is declared in entire Madhya Pradesh.

On the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, there will be a government holiday in entire Madhya Pradesh on May 22. This notification was issued on May 5, 2023 under the signature of Secretary Srinivas Sharma. Let us tell you that Madhya Pradesh has already declared summer vacation in schools from May 1 to June 15 and holiday for teachers from May 1 to June 9. has been announced so far.

Holiday declared in these states as well

In UP’s Kanpur Dehat, a public holiday has been declared on May 11, the day of polling. For this, an order has been issued by DM Neha Jain. Same, Siddharthnagar’s DM Sanjeev Ranjan has also announced a public holiday on May 11 due to the elections in the district. Apart from this, a public holiday has been declared on 7th May in view of the by-election in Sirohi, Rajasthan.
