Madhya Pradesh cabinet is likely to be expanded on June 30

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan is likely to expand his cabinet on June 30, once the ailing governor Ramnaresh Yadav is discharged from the hospital and is fit to attend the function.
CM Chouhan on Monday called on the ailing governor Ramnaresh Yadav who has been admitted in Bansal Hospital for some days. After holding discussions with the governor, CM Shivraj told media persons that governor Yadav has been making fast recovery and will be discharged from the hospital soon.

“The cabinet would be expanded once the governor is discharged from the hospital,” CM Chouhan said.
Afterwards, CM Chouhan headed to residence of Assembly speaker Dr Sitasaran Sharma for finalising the cabinet expansion. The CM had cancelled all his fixed meetings and functions on Monday for finalising things on cabinet expansion.
At least ten ministers are likely to be inducted into Madhya Pradesh cabinet with some new faces including Vishwas Sarang and Dhar MLA Neena Verma getting a berth while former minister Ranjana Baghel too is expected to make come back into the cabinet.
Several senior ministers including Health minister Narottam Mishra, Finance minister Jayant Malaiya and Transport minister Bhupendra Singh could be assigned fresh responsibilities. While ministers of state like Sharad Jain, Dipak Jain, Lal Singh Arya and Surendra Patwa could be made state minister with independent charge.
Departments of some of the senior ministers could be curtailed in the fresh expansion, sources in Mantralaya said.
