In Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh), the case of giving poor quality dress to school children has come to the fore. The government has become strict after this matter came to light. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains has ordered the School Education and Panchayat Department to investigate the matter. In fact, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government had given orders to purchase dress cloth for school children and distribute it to women’s groups.

Rs 220 was fixed for the fabric of a dress. Also, 70 rupees were fixed by the government for stitching clothes. That is, the cost of each dress from fabric to stitching was Rs 290. On behalf of the government, the officers of the State Education Center and the National Livelihood Mission were ordered to purchase cloth from the Weaver’s Association and get the clothes stitched from the women’s groups and distribute them among the school children in 130 days.

Now the government has received a complaint that the responsible officials did not get the dress stitched but bought it from the market. Poor quality dress was bought from the market. These dresses have been purchased at a cost of Rs 100 less than the cost of the dress fixed by the government. After these complaints, the government has become strict. State Education Center Commissioner Dhanraju S has also called a meeting regarding this matter. Along with this, the school education department can also get the matter investigated.

On this whole matter, Dhanraju S said that our job is to give the amount for the dress on time. The work of buying dress or cloth is of the National Livelihood Mission. The time given was 130 days to sew the dress, but this work was done in 120 days. We will get this matter investigated.
