Opposition parties created ruckus in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday over attack on two muslim women at Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur railway station allegedly over the possession of beef.
BSP chief Mayawati condemned the attack on Muslim women and also questioned the BJP over the issue.

“BJP raises ‘Mahilaon ke samman mein, BJP maidan mein’ slogan, yet in BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh women thrashed on beef rumours,” said Mayawati in Rajya Sabha.
Ghulam Nabi Azad also attacked the Modi led government and said, “Don’t target Dalits or Muslims in the name of ‘Gau raksha’.”
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi in Rajya Sabha said, “We condemn any kind of violence in any state and we can never support it. MP state give has investigated this particular issue we want Vikas and vishwaas in the country for everyone whichever caste or community.”
It may be mentioned here that earlier on Tuesday two muslim women were thrashed by mob for allegedly carrying beef.
