Women can tie rakhis on the wrist of their brothers who are serving sentence in Raipur Central jail during Raksha Bandhan festival.
Notably, Raksha Bandhan will be across the country on August 18.

Jail authorities have opened registration counter in this connection where the meeting timings could be fixed with the inmates.
Registration will be made from August 10 to August 17, said a press release. No registration will be done on August 15 on account of Independence Day.
The women will be allowed to meet the inmates and tie the sacred thread on the hnads of their brothers from 8 AM to 4 PM on the day of festival, said an official statement released from Central jail.
