Sadhvi Pragya ends hunger strike after cops give her permission to visit Simhastha

Malegaon bomb blast accused who has recently been given clean chit by the NIA – Sadhvi Pragya Bharti ended her fast unto death on Wednesday after the police agreed to her Simhastha visit.
Reportedly, Sadhvi will now visit Ujjain at 7.30 am on Wednesday amid tight security where she will take the holy dip in the Kshipra river.
A special team comprising 26 policemen is being deployed to carry Sadhvi Pragya to Ujjain so that she can visit the Mahakal temple during ongoing Simhastha Kumbh.
Earlier, Sadhvi had written letters to President of India, PMO and CM Office in Madhya Pradesh and host of other dignitaries, seeking permission for visiting Simhastha in Ujjain.
Dewas court had permitted Sadhvi to visit Ujjain on May 5 but Police Headquarters is sitting on the matter and hasn’t taken any final call on the her request. The senior police officers have expressed concern over lack of police force at Simhastha.
The Sadhvi who has recently been exonerated in 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case as the NIA in its supplementary charge sheet assigned clean chit to her, has been admitted to a local hospital.
While in custody, Bharti was detected with breast cancer in 2012 and she also has problems with the spinal cord. She is admitted to Khushilal Sharma Ayurvedic College in Bhopal almost two years.
Sadhvi on Monday was put under strict security cover with female constables flanking her at the hospital and media persons who reached there to have a word with the controversial seer were not even allowed to enter the hospital. Bharti also handed a letter to Superintendent of Khushilal Medical College intimating him about hunger strike and requesting him to conduct medical examination regularly.
