The Madhya Pradesh government on Monday has imposed prohibitory orders in Betul town over severe water crisis.
The Betul District Magistrate Gyaneshwar Patil has said that all construction work whether government or private will be restricted due to imposition of Section 144 of CrPC. Section 144 prohibits unlawful assembly of five or more persons at a place.
Madhya Pradesh is facing a drought like situation for a second year in a row. Water scarcity reported in over 40 districts across the state.
