BHOPAL: Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh’s brother and party MLA from Chachoura assembly seat Lakshman Singh supported the Citizenship Act. In a recent tweet, he said, “Stop politics on citizenship law. Now even Muslims are asking to stop it. They are asking to make arrangements for their livelihood. If you pull the string too much, it will break.”

Another Congress MLA from Madhya Pradesh, Hardeep Singh Dang of Subasra assembly seat said there is nothing wrong in giving citizenship to the sad, depraved minorities of Pakistan. He also said that CAA and NRC are different and one should not be connected to the other.
