In an attempt to save her younger sister, a girl in Madhya Pradesh’s Barwani gave her life.
The incident was reported in Sendhwa Warla village, where the two sisters went to collect wood, when the younger sister Shama’s feet slipped and she fell in a small lake.
Seeing her sister drowning, the elder one jumped into the water and rescued Shama.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to save herself and swept away in the river.
Her body has not been recovered yet due to heavy rains and high current in the water.
