Samsung is launching one of the biggest flagships of the year 2019 aka the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7. Meanwhile, the South Korean manufacturer has also confirmed to bring the Galaxy Fold to the consumers officially in September. The launch date of the Galaxy Fold is yet to be revealed. In addition to these expensive devices, Samsung is also working on affordable phones. A new report suggests Samsung Galaxy A10s is in the works. Regardless to say, the Samsung Galaxy A10s will be the successor to the Galaxy A10 that launched in India some months ago.
As of now, there are no reports on when the Samsung Galaxy A10s will launch. But considering some of the key specs of the smartphone have already leaked we assume the launch may be nearing. An Android Enterprise Listing has revealed some of the key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A10s. The listing reveals the Samsung Galaxy A10s will come packed with the same screen size as the Galaxy A10.
The Samsung Galaxy A10s is tipped to come packed with a 6.2-inch screen. The Galaxy A10 also comes with 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity-V screen on the front. We believe the front design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A10s will be the same as the Galaxy A10. The listing reveals some interesting details too.
It suggests that the Galaxy A10s will come with a fingerprint sensor that wasn’t present in the Galaxy A10. The Galaxy A10 includes face unlock but there’s no fingerprint sensor. With Galaxy A10s Samsung is looking to solve this issue. We can expect the Galaxy A10s to have the fingerprint sensor sit on the rear panel next to the camera setup. The listing further reveals that the Galaxy A10s will have a 2GB+32GB storage variant and run on Android 9 OS. We expect the phone to have more variants.
With the Galaxy A10s Samsung will look to take on the likes of phones like Realme C2 and Redmi 7A. Right now in India, the Galaxy A10 comes for Rs 7,999. We expect the price of the Galaxy A10s to be on par with the price of Galaxy A10. This means expect the Galaxy A10s to be an under Rs 10,000 smartphone until Samsung tries to be aggressive with the pricing of the phone.
