Samsung is on a roll this year. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is leaving no stones unturned to get back the long lost market position to the Chinese players. The Samsung Galaxy A90 is in the development and we have reported about a number of times in the past. The launch date of the Galaxy A90 is yet to be revealed by the company but looking at the rumour mill it seems like the launch date of the Samsung phone is nearing. A new leak coming from popular tipster Onleaks reveals some of the camera details of the Samsung Galaxy A90.
The new leak shuts old rumours and suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A90 will not come with Galaxy A80 like sliding same. Samsung launched the Galaxy A80 couple of months ago and the smartphone was special because of the sliding flip camera system. Rumours until now suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 will succeed the Galaxy A80 and have the similar sliding camera system onboard. But now with the new leak coming out in the open looks like the story is going to be slightly different.
Rumours and leaks suggest that the Galaxy A90 series will include two smartphones – one with model number SM-A905 while the second one with model number SM-A908. The series is said to include Galaxy A90 and the second one is expected to be a Pro version. Both the smartphones under this series are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Having said that it will be the first time that a Galaxy A series smartphone will run on Qualcomm’s flagship processor.
As far as the camera specs are concerned, the SM-A905 aka Galaxy A90 is expected to include a camera system of 48 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP while the SM-A908 is expected to include 48 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP camera system on the back panel. The SM-A908 is further tipped to include a 6.7-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. In comparison, the SM-A905 is supposed to come packed with QHD panel that will also measure 6.7-inches in size. Rumours and leaks additionally confirm that the Pro version of the Galaxy A90 may come with 5G connectivity while the regular version will stick to 4G.
Samsung is yet to officially confirm the existence of the Samsung Galaxy A90 series. Considering the rumours and leaks flooding the internet we believe the smartphones will go official very soon.
