Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India last week alongside the Redmi Note 7. Now, the company is all set to launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China on March 18. Possibly Xiaomi will launch the same Indian variant of the Redmi Note 7 Pro in China as well and not do what it did with the Redmi Note 7. Yes, Xiaomi didn’t bring the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 7 to India, the company modified the specs to bring down the cost of the Note 7 in India.
Ahead of China, Xiaomi is leaving no stones unturned to create the hype for the Redmi Note 7 Pro. One of the things that the company is doing is giving away free Redmi Note 7 Pro to 100 fans in Mainland China. Yes, this offer is not for Indian consumers. So, to get a Redmi Note 7 the fans just need to test various aspects of the smartphone like they will need to test gaming performance, or how well the phone records videos or clicks pictures and so on.
Interested fans will just need to log in to their Mi account and send a message to Xiaomi that they are interested in participating in the competition. The fans will need to share some of their information like name, gender, mobile number, email address, Weibo account user name, Mi account user name, among other things. In addition to that, the company wants interested fans to reveal the number of followers they have on their respective social media profiles. This possibly means that fans with more followers will have a better chance to get a free Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will go on sale in India for the first time on March 13 on Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Homes store. In India, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes in two variants — 3GB RAM/64GB storage model sells for Rs 13,999 and 6GB RAM/128GB model sells for Rs 16,999. On March 13 the sale kicks off at 12noon.
