When is Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro launching in India? Xiaomi is yet to reveal the answer for this question but rumours and leaks have come out with a tentative launch date. A new leak coming from Tipster Ishaan Agarwal suggests that the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will launch “on or around July 15” in India. So far rumours have been suggesting that the Redmi K20 series will launch in the third week of July. On the basis of that the new leak sort of seems authentic. Considering it’s a leak take the information with a pinch of salt.
We expect Xiaomi India to reveal the launch date of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro is some days from now. Ahead of the Redmi K20 series launch, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi 7A in India. The Redmi 7A will go official in India on July 4. The company has revealed that India will get an upgraded version of the Redmi 7A when compared to the China variant.
For now, Xiaomi has confirmed some details for the Redmi 7A India variant. The Indian version of the Redmi 7A will come packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, single rear camera, and a big battery. In India, the Redmi 7A is expected to launch the phone for a price of around Rs 6,000. While the Redmi 7A will be an entry level phone the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will be slightly on the expensive.
In India, the Redmi K20 is expected to be priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000. The Redmi K20 is said to go against the Realme X that is also said to launch in the country this month. Realme India CEO Madhav Seth previously around that the Realme X will launch for around Rs 18,000 in the country. In comparison, the Redmi K20 Pro will be slightly expensive and the reason for that is obvious – the phone comes with a flagship level processor.
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor that right now powers only the flagship level phones like the OnePlus 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S10 series, among others. The Redmi K20 Pro will be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 phone yet and its India price is expected to be around Rs 25,000.
